We also offer stress and anxiety workshops, as well as parenting supports.
The service is available on a sliding scale based on ability to pay.

Cost range: Free – Donations optional; No donation is asked for, a donations box is left in the room and a client can contribute or not in a confidential manner, thus removing any sense of onus on a client who is not in a financial position to donate.

Candle Community Trust, is an NGO working with “at risk” young people in Ballyfermot and the surrounding areas. The project aims to provide a context for emotional, intellectual, physical, social and spiritual growth and development. Working through 4 main programmes; the Training Programme, Connect Project, Youth Service and the Therapeutic Space, the Project provides a range of educational and developmental modules. Candle is funded primarily by 4 main funding agencies, i.e. HSE, Probation Service, CDETB, TUSLA.
Aims
- To work with young people with a wide range of struggles and difficulties and in doing so prioritise their emotional and psychological health.
- To respond to significant emotional stress and trauma affecting our client group; some of who are presenting with poor self-esteem, anxiety, depression and grief.
- To promote well-being at all levels of the person in turn supporting the educational/training programme in Candle and the young person’s academic achievements.
- To address the emotional well-being of the young person so as to support full integration into community.

Pro Consult is a community-based professional counselling and psychotherapy service, provided by highly qualified and experienced staff (individual, couple, family and group counselling is available).
Counselling offers an opportunity, in a confidential setting, to explore a particular problem and the various options available for change and growth.

Kerry Adolescent Counselling Service aims to provide a professional counselling service, specialising in working with adolescents and families. The service is accessible to all and is responsive to client needs in a compassionate and safe environment.
Kerry Adolescent Counselling Service provides services both at the centre in Balloonagh and also at various outreach venues throughout County Kerry.
Kerry Adolescent Counselling Service is a free service. However, donations are accepted and greatly appreciated.

The Centre works with individuals, couples, groups and families with the purpose of helping them to explore and understand their individual needs and to function more positively as individuals and in their relationships.

Knock Counselling Service is a community based professional counselling service. Fees for counselling are charged on a sliding scale from €15 to €50.
Counselling will be provided irrespective of an individual's ability to pay for sessions.
Counselling is provided based on the principles of respect, unconditional valuing and a basic trust in the potential of each person.

We are a community based service since 1991 within the Family Resource Centre (1987)
Our counselling and psychotherapy services addresses the needs of children, adolescents, families, individuals, couples/relationship personal issues, crisis situations, bereavement support and parenting support. We offer a sliding scale so people can pay according to what they feel they can afford.
A drop-in clinic is held weekly during school terms where concerned parents, grandparents or others can come in and receive support and if needed get a counselling appointment or other supports and services deemed suitable.

Vita House Family Centre is a place of welcome for all, where families and individuals are encouraged and supported to develop their true potential.
The counselling service is free to those who can't afford to pay. For those on a limited income we offer the service for a low cost, and for those who can afford to pay it is available on a sliding scale.
Vita House is a community and voluntary organisation, which responds to the needs of families in Roscommon town, county and surrounding counties.
It offers a wide range of enrichment and educational programmes, workshops and seminars, services and supports, as well as professional counselling to families, individuals, couples and groups.
We aim to address disadvantage in its many forms and maintain the focus on vulnerable/marginalised groups in research and in developing services.

LSSC Counselling Service provides confidential and non-directive one-to-one counselling to adults and adolescents over the age of 16.
The Counselling Service provides a confidential, respectful space for people to explore their life issues, and offers a holistic approach to counselling by acknowledging that people have physical, psychological, emotional needs. General one-to-one counselling for varied issues is provided, including:
Difficulties in relationships
Bereavement
Depression and anxiety
Low self-esteem
Coping with illness
Abuse
Growth issues
This service is run on a low cost and ability to pay basis.
