We welcome Bríd Meighan as our new Clinical Lead

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Bríd Meighan as Community Therapy Ireland's Clinical Lead.

Bríd brings a wealth of interdisciplinary expertise which complement the Clinical Lead role. Having spent 15 years in the Financial Services sector at the start of her career, Bríd developed expertise in operational development, organisational and people management, change management, strategic planning, human resources, finance and corporate governance.

In 2012, Bríd completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy with the Tivoli Institute. Since then, Bríd has worked as a counsellor, psychotherapist and trainer with a number of companies, charities, and schools. Bríd is accredited by and follows the code and ethics of The Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP).

In 2022, Bríd completed her masters in Adolescent Psychotherapy which underpins her particular interest in supporting the development of young people and their families.

Bríd has previously held the role of Service Manager of the Kilkenny Rape Crisis Centre KASA from 2022 until January 2025.

Bríd is also a trainer and a part-time lecturer in mental health.
